I have been fortunate throughout my career to work with many clients in various industries and markets including restaurants, healthcare, music, commercial construction, residential construction, financial services, hotel and more. During this time and throughout these experiences, I've seen shifts in importance of good design, design approaches, design tools, design patterns, best practices and more.

I find it fascinating how web design continues to evolve, as users engage with web applications on an ever-growing list of devices. I'm happy to see more organizations committing to delivering a great user experience. User research is a vital process now as it plays a critical role in allowing designers to make valuable design enhancement recommendations which align directly with the user's needs.

Below are some highlights from various recent site redesign projects.

Hunter EMS | Ambulance

Hunter owns and operates multiple transportation services across Long Island, including Hunter EMS and Hunter Ambulance. Part of the redesign strategy is to create a portal site that will refresh Hunter's brand and provide a centralized location for its various entities.

I've provided Hunter with web/UI/UX services for 10 years. The redesign should be complete sometime in April 2017.

Seifert Construction

Seifert Construction is a family owned and operated full service construction company that has been in business since 1945. They specialize in high end custom homes and renovations on the east end of Long Island.I have provided web services for Seifert for over 12 years and am currently redesign their corporate web site.

CQIMS

CQIMS is a project management and coordination tool for commercial contractors. Developed by a veteran trade contractor, the redesigned CQIMS cloud based service will virtually eliminate that contractors face with other tools available on the market. It is scheduled to lauch by the end of March 2017. For me, this redesign project provided me with my first experience developint in Microsoft's Azure cloud hosting service.
